After this morning's surprise, I've decided to have a pop-up protest that coincides with the 50501 Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at the Capital from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. I hope to see you there. PA Franklin County Democratic Committee Today, I had the honor of meeting young Amelia. She bought me water and decided to share her homemade sign. Today, she chose to fight for Democracy. Today, she had the courage to stand beside me to share her message with the world. If you don't hear that voice that inspires you, if no one else is saying something that needs to be said, GET LOUDER and be that voice that inspires others. (This coragious young lady's mother gave me consent to post these images publicly on social media.) One constant. Even if you're alone, stand your ground. Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes. Inspire and set an example for the next generation. Each and every voice matters. Your voice can be someone else's inspiration. Before leaving, someone stopped traffic and simply stated, "Keep it up. Say it louder for the people in the back."
Democracy is characterized by several key features, including free and fair elections, the rule of law, respect for human rights, and the participation of citizens in the political process. These features ensure that power is held by the people, directly or through their elected representatives, and that it is exercised with responsibly and accountably.
