-Surprisingly large airy cafe bar in Tynemouth
- chintzy granny flat decor
- no ale but they had Hoffmeister on draught so I was happy enough.
- The beer terrace has a great view of Long Sands and Cullercoats

Queens Head - Cullercoats
- A handsome looking pub on the coast a short walk from the metro
- 2 rooms with one for food and the other more like a modern bar with pool table and telly
- food looked good
- had a decent pint of Shearer
