Originally it was done in 6 consecutive weeks which is where the hashtag comes from: #6wkMMM = 6 weeks Middle Earth Movie Marathon. We haven't finalized all the dates yet but it'll take us more than 6 weeks because there will be pauses in between.

In one hour I will depart on an adventure in Middle Earth. It's time for the annual #6wkMMM that I do with a few online friends. It means that we watch the 6 Middle Earth movies made by Peter Jackson at the same time and chat about them while doing so.
