People have asked if I'm ever concerned about ice flows being that I live here on Lake Michigan, but the Northwest corner of Lake Michigan is quite shallow and doesn't break for a ways offshore and that's where the ice flows get stopped. #906Life #puremichigan

Facebook Post: Delta County Road Commission 3h · ⚠❗STORM UPDATE 3/18/26 ❗⚠ Our crew is still out there working hard to open everything up. We have not been able to open every county road yet. Some roads have snow drifting that even our plow trucks cannot tackle. We are needing to use our larger equipment to bust through some of these roads which is making this clean up job an even longer task. We have equipment getting stuck and hung up constantly, it is not an easy job. We want the public to know that we have not forgot about you and we are still working hard to get into everything as fast as we can. Roads may only have one pass through, enough to get people in and out. We will need to come back to widen them out and knock the banks back. We understand the anxiety, stress and frustration the public is feeling right now, but we ask that you please try to remain patient and try to be kind to the people answering the phone calls that do not stop. We will do our best to try and help in any way we can. Remember if you have an emergency please call 911 and your call will be directed to the appropriate people.

I ran 28km today. My longest ever treadmill run.
I was stuck inside because we’re in a historic blizzard: over 3 ft of snow so far! But at least I got to eat cupcakes for running fuel.
