#AIConfidential w/ Hannah Fry was a useful watch, but its conclusion that AI must be done "with us not to us" was a little blasé.

Sadly, as her own investigations clearly demonstrated, AI is not being run by people like Fry, & it is very much being done to us, right now, with very few guard rails.

The #AIConfidential series with Hannah Fry was utterly compelling work. Fascinating, thought provoking, more than a little disturbing.

Just watched the first episode of the amazing Hannah Fry’s new documentary series on AI. The part about grief really hit home. Losing my sister two and a half years ago, I’m not sure how I feel about being able to talk to an AI version of her. Would it have made grieving any easier? #AIConfidential
