(Totally didn't get this explanation idea from Loki. /sar) V: "I guess the easiest way I can explain this is uh... Imagine there's a long line that represents your timeline. And different actions that have major consequences create new lines branching off from the main one. For example: say someone decided not to show up somewhere they needed to be and something important happened in their absence. Versus them showing up and something totally different happening. The branching lines represent alternate situations. Like what if something else happened than what happened on the main line?" V: "So uh... You guys are all from the main timeline. I'm not sure how I got here but I'm from one of the branching timelines. And... Well... In my timeline I was a human and none of you existed. Instead you were all... Made up... By me... For... Art...
