Voters are sceptical because of #TheNerdReich. The #Tech is in the wrong hands and people know it now. We can't buy #APlaceToStand from them. #AI is also kind of underwhelming in its less scientific applications (and starting to see evidence of overhype for science but waiting on that one).

Exactly my concern. While I'm not convinced #Australia is ready yet, I can see the same patterns emerging in the Australian Right that we've seen in the #USA. They're putting the same #Infrastructure in place. Lobby groups, Thinks Tanks, politicians, scholars, etc. #APlaceToStand for the next steps.
