Are letter grades "dumbed down" versions of report cards? Comments are more meaningful, but subject to more interpretation. #ASCD10
Why don't U.S. report cards have a place for teachers to report which standards were targeted and plans for student growth? #ASCD10

Really digging the "Assessment Summary" idea being presented here. Student-centered and involved and sensible for teachers. #ASCD10
Report 1/3 via newsletter home, 1/3 on report card, and 1/3 at parent conferences. Be sensible and efficient with reporting. #ASCD10
When we go to Dr., we accept observation and conversation as valid assessments of health. Should be okay for student progress, too. #ASCD10
Edmonton is working to "triangulate" reporting amongst student products, observations, and conversations. #ASCD10
