Very grateful to the #ASSC, Ryota Kanai and the whole community for a truly inspiring #ASSC27 in Tokyo and the opportunity to give a talk on our recent work on neural correlates of gradual awareness. It was great meeting you!

Why not first work on the "easy problem of consciousness" by restoring functional vision for the blind through non-visual sensory stimuli encoding visual input and next extending this to the "hard problem of consciousness" by additionally evoking "truly" visual sensations? #ASSC27 #qualia
Some academic researchers are trying to understand the brain mechanisms underlying (visual) mental imagery, but I know of no researchers actively trying to develop/train/guide/engineer/control (visual) mental imagery? 🤔🧠 #ASSC27 #neuroscience
Really great turnout and engagement at our #ASSC27 tutorial on using the Human Neocortical Neurosolver to bridge across scales in (un)conscious processing. Thanks to all who participated, and Carolina Fernandez, Stephanie Jones, @tmarvan.bsky.social, and the ASSC.

very excited to be at the ASSC and even more excited to be in tokyo 🗼 #ASSC27
I will be presenting some of my postdoc work tomorrow at 14:45 in the Unconscious Processing session. drop by so I can tell you how we replicate some crucial unconscious processing findings.
Off to Tokyo to attend the best conference in the world. #assc27
