There's a no crossing sign to signal pedestrians to use the footbridge, but that is inconvenient for pedestrians. They should just convert that footbridge into an at-grade crossing.

That being said, I understand why some parts of Makati Poblacion have no pedestrian crossings. After the Audit omw back home, it rained hard and several areas were flooded ankle-deep.

Makati Poblacion has a drainage problem.

I find this diagonal segment along P. Burgos St. between Kalayaan Ave. and Makati Ave. interesting because it's within Makati's red light district and has decent pedestrian activity, but it has no pedestrian crossings.

This is a common issue with Metro Manila sidewalks. Establishments that are supposed to be the "eyes on the street" prioritize car users by converting the designated walkway as parking spaces.

This was along P. Burgos St. in Makati.
