Finished the second series of #AThousandBlows last night. Not sure I’d bother with a third. Lots of stuff happened, none of it really had any impact. (Oddly similar to the second series of #Fallout, in a way).

Apologies for missing Alt Text earlier. Accident! Now with. The real man who inspired Stephen Graham's character in #AThousandBlows. It's lovely to see how well-kept Henry 'Sugar' Goodson's grave is - a grandson (I believe) of John, who is buried here with his brother Ted and parents, maintains it.

#AThousandBlows (2026) Season 2 - Not as polished as the first season, but it has excellent characters. It’s all performed and presented well. 7.8/10 🧐✌️

Enjoyed watching #AThousandBlows, with gorgeous 1880s London period detail, much based on real figures, eg. Jamaican boxer Hezekiah Moscow. We let Disney+ roll on and it served up extraordinary film, #Jawbone a gritty modern tale about boxing, addiction -great contrast of #boxing eras and portrayals
