👀 See a bat in winter?
A bat active during cold weather may be in trouble. Don’t handle it — contact a local wildlife rehabilitator for advice. Often it will be Big Brown Bats that rouse in winter - they are the most common bat in Canada to use buildings as overwintering sites

I miss this little guy so much. He was my friend back in Ontario, but I haven’t seen a single one here in #YEG.
I have crows and magpies and a pair of red squirrels that are happy to hang out in our yard, but none of them are friendly-friendly like this guy was.
