As #BlackHistoryMonth2026 closes, I salute my oldest brother, Carl. He committed suicide on Feb28, 1979, at age 25yo. I was then a 15yo student at #AbrahamLincolnHS in our hometown, #SF. His death—and impact on our fam—inspired me to become a Journalist. S’why I’ll NEVER give up on #TruthTelling 💪🏾🌉
