It was Jazz Fest this weekend in Regensburg and the town was packed with people and 14 concert stages around the city full of music. I also lived the German dream of eating a pretzel bigger than my head.... #AcademicTravels

Lovely run along the Danube River and old city wall of #Regensburg. Did a walking tour yesterday and found out the city didn't have a lot of money in the 60s and 70s which is why most of the historical center structures are original & were not torn down like other places in Germany. #AcademicTravels

We visited the Ladies' Gallery during our tour of the Ohio statehouse. The gallery opened in 2008 and celebrates the first women to serve in the Ohio legislature. It is the only space devoted to real women in politics (not the mythical figures) I have ever seen in a legislature! #AcademicTravels
