It was Jazz Fest this weekend in Regensburg and the town was packed with people and 14 concert stages around the city full of music. I also lived the German dream of eating a pretzel bigger than my head.... #AcademicTravels
Lovely run along the Danube River and old city wall of #Regensburg. Did a walking tour yesterday and found out the city didn't have a lot of money in the 60s and 70s which is why most of the historical center structures are original & were not torn down like other places in Germany. #AcademicTravels
Coding arrest data for our adjudication article at the coffee shop today. I missed Saturday since we were having a garage sale. Trying to get in a few more hours of research before I leave for my summer travels! #AcWri #AcademicTravels
Lovely venue for the 2025 Conference on Baltic Studies in Europe at Cambridge University. This is the first time CBSE has been held outside of the Baltic States sponsored by the Baltic Geopolitics Programme at Cambridge. #AcademicTravels #CBSE2025
In the United Kingdom this week for a conference and we have been busy meeting all the locals and seeing the sights! #AcademicTravels
We visited the Ladies' Gallery during our tour of the Ohio statehouse. The gallery opened in 2008 and celebrates the first women to serve in the Ohio legislature. It is the only space devoted to real women in politics (not the mythical figures) I have ever seen in a legislature! #AcademicTravels
