Acanthocephala terminalis is a type of leaf-footed bug. It is facing left on a diagonal in the photo and is on a rock that appears to have some moss on it. Its head and thorax are black. The antenna are long and form a V. They are black about two-thirds of the way and then a bright orange toward the end. The wings are open and reveal a dark body with a light blue stripe toward the tail end. The legs look like a cricket's legs and appear to be brown in this photo.
