Set of four small abstract expressionist canvases variously depicting organic or forest like themes in acrylic paint. All are heavily textured and fairly colorful. The top left canvas is covered in a thick barklike texture evoking the light of a setting sun through a dark forest; the top right is a bright red river under a bright red sky curving away between two forested mountain sides alive with a multitude of splattered and textured colors; the bottom left is a thin gnarled branching pattern—like a patch of fungus, lichen or capillaries—in bright red, yellow and orange against a mottled green and blue background; and the bottom right returns to a thick barklike pattern but the colors are bright and energetic, tiny streaks and dollops of paint in all the colors of the rainbow evoking a daytime scene of dappled light through multicolored trees and foliage.
