The non-union talent who get hired to work on a non-union commercial and earn 60% of 'something' wins over the union talent who aren't getting hired to work on any union commercials and end up earning 100% of nothing.

That's basic math.

Many talent agents get paid 20% upfront to submit talent for non-union jobs and still take an additional 20% commission from talent.
