On this fourth Saturday of Advent, we top our tree with a symbol of PEACE.

In my current life, the thing I find peace in is that I know who I am, and while others try to define me, they will never succeed.

On this 3rd Sunday of Advent, we adorn the tree with objects of JOY, whether it be colors, shapes, or items. This is where your creativity can shine and I typically change out each year.

On this second Sunday of Advent, we wrap the tree in LOVE, reminding us it is love that is more powerful than anything in this world.

Let us remember that true love comes from compassion, not attraction.

So, for a few years, I have been doing what is called an Advent Tree. Each Sunday in Advent, I set up and decorate my tree in stages. This week is just the tree, sharing the hope and anticipation of what is to come. Stay tuned for further developments!
