Princess Shark in a pink top with a triangle symbol on the chest with a stylized emblem resembling the shark on the JAWS poster. Her skirt and shoulder pads look like jellyfish parts. She's holding a giant Anime sword that looks like it's made from a huge shark tooth. She's standing on two flying hammerhead sharks.

"...Princess Shark! I have come in search of Supergirl, so that I may reap what she has sewn -- vengeance."

I realize my #AestheticNotCostume hobbyhorse is straight-up advocating for this sort of thing, but, dammit, superheroes having different costumes for different occasions is cool!

I'm seeing people say Wonder Woman with pants never works. I disagree. I love some of her outfits in Wonder Woman Earth One.

But that's another example of none of them being "the" costume she wears. The benefits of #AestheticNotCostume

Gorshin famously felt self-conscious in the leotard and asked to have an alternate costume to wear in some scenes, leading to the suit and bowler hat look - not controversial to say variations on it are Riddler's best look. Also a prime example of my #AestheticNotCostume hobbyhorse.
