ICYMI I'm responding to Andy Weir saying being an #agnostic is a "cop out".

"A metaphysical god hypothesis is unfalsifiable. Hence UNknowable" is not just a "simple conclusion", it's a simplistic one.

Assuming the Universe was created, scientific knowledge tells us a lot about "The Creator".

It's one definition among some others, and it seems to be very much how #agnosticism is officially defined these days considering how many dictionaries include that rather problematic definition of #agnostic.

It's patently ridiculous to pretend that God aka "The Creator" is completely UNknowable.

No I don't.

I'm calling into question the validity of that questionable definition of #agnostic.

For many years I understood #agnostics to be people who were pretty much "neutral" regarding the existence of God.

They neither believed nor disbelieved (or denied) God.

They required more evidence.
