Akaka falls on the big island of Hawaii is a very tall waterfall. The strong stream of water plunges down with a roar to the pool below. The falls are surrounded by thick trees and foilage that cover the surrounding hills. This view required a mild to moderate hoof up stairs and paved path, but is more than worth it.
