Is there any way to get #akonadi to not just suck out loud on memory usage? #KDE

Why does #Akonadi -- by default -- want a #MySQL/ #MariaDB backend? It also supports #PostgreSQL and #SQLite.

Personally the default should be SQLite for everyone. If someone needs a more robust backend database for their _email_ and PIM data then let them migrate and switch on their own!
