#Alauniira is terrified of another pregnancy bc if it is a boy it would be put to death. Eventually she has another child, a girl who follows the cleric / paladin path.
Even in the timeline where #Alauniira does have children, her body does not tolerate pregnancy well. She is an absent mother. Her first pregnancy would be twin boys, a horrible omen. Twins are looked down on as well as males. It was interpreted as displeasure from Lolth. This also impacts her wife.
#Alauniira was supposed to be on concoctions for her fertility and had to abstain from the substances she was addicted to, which she greatly resented. Withdrawal coupled with hormonal sensitivities made it a negative experience for her.
#Alauniira did not want children, but if she was going to have them, she wanted it to be with the man she was having an affair with, a wizard named Tal. It was motivated by love for him and spite for her wife and Matron.
Circumstances unfolded that made her have to leave Menzo before she conceived.
