Two #IRA splinters were active during #TheTroubles. Initially larger, by the time of the #AldershotBombing in England, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1972, #OfficialIRA was noticeably smaller. This attack killed seven and wounded 19; the only military fatality was a Catholic chaplain.
