When I was a kid (70s-80s), one of the supposed signs of gifted kids was that they memorised the work quickly, then got bored.

Past educators - that wasn’t giftedness, that was ADHD.

We didn’t need to be segregated, we needed meds!

I’m late diagnosed ADHD. Just finished an assessment to determine how deeply it’s impacted my life.

Wow. I knew it had a big impact but realizing all the micro ways it’s affected me and how different my life would have been if I’d been diagnosed earlier is a heavy feeling.
