I lost the 180 words I needed in less than an hour, without losing any ideas. 🥳

My first stage is super micro mode. I'm getting rid of every spare word I can before I go into cutting sentences.
"the extreme violence of slavery" (5 words) -->"slavery's extreme violence" (3 words)
If I can cut 250 I may have space for the reader report's suggestion. Otherwise: more #AmCutting!

I need to address one conceptual suggestion from the reader reports and somehow end up 140 words under where I was. Not the biggest challenge ever but I'm pressed for time & need to get to my syllabus. So we'll see how much I can advance before dinner. #AmCutting
