In 1845, the #SouthernBaptists separated from the #TriennialConvention to support #SLAVERY, WHICH THEY CONSIDERED "AN INSTITUTION OF HEAVEN". Churches affiliated w the #denomination are #evangelical in #doctrine & #practice!
