*suddenly, she feels sleepy, yawning almost instantly* Jane: They were not kidding when they said you’d feel drowsy. Time to get some sleep.

*she fills the cup full, taking a deep breath. She puts the cup to her lips, tilts her head back, and slowly drinks the Fantasia.*

Haurchefant: Absolutely. Now, I must get back to my duties. Use the medicine whenever you are ready. And when you do, I will be here.

Jane: A vial?
*close up of Haurchefant holding a blue bottle* Haurchefant: Not just any vial. This is a Fantasia, a special medicine that not many people are able to get their hands on. They say there is a legend with it; that whoever drinks it before going to sleep will suddenly wake up as a new person. Now, I have never used this before, so I am unsure of how true this is. However, I feel as though this might help you if what they say is true about it.
Jane: And if this so called “legend” isn’t true?
Haurchefant: Then we will keep trying to find ways to help you feel more comfortable to be yourself. I understand that you’ve been through a lot, part of me is hopeful that this Fantasia does help you, even a little.

Jane: When I…I look at myself, I don’t see what other people see. I see…something like you, like my friends Noah and Ash. I don’t remember the last time I felt comfortable in my own skin. I would’ve talked to Ammy and the others about it, but then we had to split up on the island before she could get married off by her father. I’ve felt isolated and alone, no clue how to talk to my new Scion friends about this.

Jane: Yes. I…wasn’t sure who else I could talk to. With the other Scions missing, I’m still searching for my friends from my homeland, and wanting to give Alphinaud and Tataru space to adjust to everything…I felt like I just needed to talk to someone. Not sure why I thought to approach you, part of me feels like you wouldn’t judge.
Haurchefant: Judge you? Haha, come now what kind of friend and host would I be if I did such a thing? Now tell me, what is on your mind?
Jane: Have you…ever felt different from everyone around you, but you don’t know why?
Haurchefant: I’m sure everyone feels that way, though you may have to be more specific so that I may understand what you are referring to.
