The Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu approved formation of Polavaram and Markapuram districts. Polavaram district will have Rampachodavaram as its headquarters. Briefing the media on the Cabinet decisions, state Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad said that the Cabinet approved proposals for changes in 17 out of the total 26 districts.

Andhra Cabinet gives nod for Rs 11,471 crore works in Amaravati Amaravati, Dec 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday gave its nod for Amaravati capital development works worth Rs 11,471 crore. The state Cabinet, at its meeting presided by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, gave its approval for the works which were cleared by the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) on Monday. The Cabinet gave its consent to cancelling the old tenders for these works and calling for fresh tenders.
