Ok, so with #AndroidKikaider over, what else is there to do?
Three words: LET 'EM RIP! It's the third and final season for the Bladebreakers...but the team breaks up as they all want a shot at Tyson! Will they go out with a bang or an annoying Add-a-kid?
However, if you prefer your story a little more dark, the hero not too happy to be one but knows they have to be, and the philosophy of having to EARN your soul/humanity by going through Hell and back, the anime would be the better choice. #AndroidKikaider
And the end, it comes down to likes and preferences. If you don't mind a little bit of time making things look more goofy and cheap and think we all have a soul already, how it is depends on us, #AndroidKikaider, even though it's great on it's own, is good.
And while you can argue that holds true in the live action, again, the TV show says Jiro's doing it because that's what heroes do, kinda taking away some of that choice and making the "Don't fix me" option the stupid option. #AndroidKikaider
Jiro had to go through Hell and back in the anime and got no answers. It's until the submission circuit introduces the one concept that he never thought TO have that makes a human...
The ability to CHOOSE light or darkness. #AndroidKikaider
Then we have the missing components of the circuit itself making Jiro an incomplete android. Again, in the show, him being a hero is a willing choice, so what was he afraid of?
In the anime, it was part of him discovering what measure of a man. #AndroidKikaider
but he choses to because he knows what would happen if he doesn't. One says the good guy does it because he's the good guy, the other says the good guy does it, but doesn't like it, because he's the good guy. It's basically Superman Vs. John McClane. #AndroidKikaider
To me, the difference is Jiro in the show is fighting DARK by choice, so he can still have the humanity he's looking for if that circuit was complete.
In the anime? He keeps asking why he has to fight his "Brothers" and he hates it #AndroidKikaider

I'm sorry, but I still prefer how the anime approached Jiro's quest to find his humanity from a philosophy standpoint. #AndroidKikaider
Most of the stories were great, it was interesting to see how humans impacted Jiro and Jiro impacted them, and I can see why it has it's fans. And yeah, while time wasn't kind to most of it, that doesn't mean bad. This was early Toku, somethings can slide. #AndroidKikaider
Ok, first, I wanna start off with saying I like this show. @jodiseer.com gave me some of her DVDs of eps and I loved them then and I love the show now. It has a great twist on the Pinocchio story, interesting characters, and serves as a time capsule for early Toku. #AndroidKikaider
