Were you ever frustrated at not knowing from which Lyoko territory this Replika could have originated ? Personally, I assumed that it could have been another Desert Replika whose Translation would have led to area 51 in Nevada, where the final sequence of Independence day 1 took place. Aelita and Yumi were translated there and had to deal with xanatifieds, the kunoichi diverting by confronting the xanatifieds in a scientific section of the base while Aelita used the elevator to reach an important underground section to deactivate the security system protecting the supercomputer. For the evening of December 24 2008, Yumi Ishiyama, Eva Skinner, Jeremy Belpois, Ulrich Stern and Odd Della Robbia were invited to celebrate at the Hermitage being Aelita’s first Christmas eve since her mother was released from Green Phoenix of which she was a prisoner for 22 years. Eva and Jeremy were the first guests being boarders in Kadic having arrived first since December 20 rather than staying at the middle-high school to make their contribution to the preparations of the feast by cleaning the Hermitage to receive the guests well as it will take. Story taking place in the aborted project Code Lyoko : New Era in June 2010 in which a secret organization surfaced 9 months earlier and re-launched the Carthage project ! This organization has awakened a new version of XANA, controllable and able to speak. Mysterious agents have been lurking around Kadic and trying to kidnap Aelita in vain from September to December 2009. During the weekend of June 12-13, Aelita received a strange e-mail from her mother, Anthea who disappeared on December 30, 1985, containing the GPS coordinates of the place where she could be found. She decided to go alone without informing her friends in order to have the pleasure of fully enjoying her reunion with her mother, she went to the place indicated on the GPS coordinates which took her to an old abandoned student house. She explored every room, all four floors and even the basement where she found her mother securely tied/gagged to a chair. Her mother tried to warn her daughter but she couldn't say anything understandable and before Aelita could remove the scarf, she was hit on the head with a baton and knocked unconscious. After a while, Aelita woke up and realized with horror that she was tied/gagged on a chair next to her mother and also gagged. The Keeper of Lyoko looked at her mother with a confused look while wondering how she got in here and what she was doing but didn't have time to ask herself any more questions as a strange bald headed agent arrived and started to explain the operation that had been organized using Anthea as a bait to trap her daughter. What will happen to these precious hostages ? Will Jeremy, Yumi, Ulrich and Odd manage to find them and rescue them in time thanks to the GPS transmitter hidden in the plastic bracelet on the girl's left wrist ?

Unaware that this is what turned the trio into Jack Nicholson like psychopaths in Shinning, they decided to hold them hostage in the attic after having them tightly bound/gagged while waiting for Fany and Gaby to arrive to take the trio to turn them into mercenaries as Anthea was entitled to when she was prisoner of Green Phoenix. Perilous and terrifying situation for Eva, Yumi and Aelita having no way to free themselves since Hiroki confiscated her sister’s folding knife to prevent her from cutting the ropes. Since the 2008 Easter holidays, Aelita became a day student and her mother is enjoying life while recovering from the post-traumatic effects she endured during her 22 years in detention, which was not easy during the first few weeks but is now doing very well. Among the torture she endured during her first years of detention, she was subjected to multiple bondage sessions and was initiated by her kidnappers to become a mercenary kidnapping specialist by being forced to kidnap girls between the ages of 8 and 20 by tying/gagging them to extract high ransoms from wealthy families to get their children back.
