Arrived in Niteroi for #AoIR2025 (or is it #AoIR25?)

I had a wonderful cab ride to the hotel, with a patient cab driver who could parse my high school Spanish -- he gave me an impromptu guided tour of the area.

12 years ago I visited Brazil for the first time. I was so blown away by its beauty & musicality that I wrote this song for @duniabest.bsky.social, a promise that one day I'd return & bring her with me
