The woman in red is the MC - a bold gunslinger obsessed with eldritch secrets. The wizard in blue is her close friend. The shadow-mage is a mysterious presence she comes across in her travels.

Editing #AownaABYSSWIP and seeing it, in the latest draft, taking its best shape yet is so gratifying. It feels correct. It feels right. It's eerie and weird like I wanted it to be.

Today's #OCSky #AownaABYSSWIP post is about the book's main character, Eishan. A thrill-seeker, reckless and stubborn, she's entranced with the mysteries of the Abyss and will stop at nothing to uncover the eldritch truth.

I came up with the idea for #AownaABYSSWIP in early 2020 and I can't believe it's been so many years already. Here are some of the old, original sketches.

I hope that, whenever I publish it, it sells well enough for me to also create a whole artbook/bestiary to go with a special edition.

#AownaABYSSWIP is the book I'm currently line-editing. It's an adult dark fantasy book about a magic-stealing gunslinger on a quest to find her murdered mentor's soul within the maze of an abyssal stronghold.
