After 25 years at the USAO-SDFL Appellate Division, and a lurker on #AppellateTwitter and #AppellateSky, I’m pleased to share that I’ve joined Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine as Co-Chair of the firm’s newly launched Appellate Practice.
Documentation barrier: many voters couldn't register with a driver's license alone (licenses usually don't show citizenship).
These bills would push people to provide less-common documents like a passport or birth certificate.

It seems like a helpful, stock quote to have at the ready when you want to say “those are just words”— I just don’t recall seeing it before…
📚 Educate and inform.
Refuse “both sides” arguments about rhetoric or protest tactics.
There are not two sides to due process, the right to protest, or equal protection.
