When Anduin is abducted into the realm of death right before his wedding day, Alyssina is furious and delves into the Maw to find her fiance and hunt down Sylvanas. Siding with the Kyrian Covenant for the recognition of her valor, she uses her newly gained (although temporary) magic of the Kyrian to become a whirlwind of magic and rage to bring Anduin back from the claws of Zo'vaal. But even after saving him, Anduin couldn't bear to return to Azeroth a broken king but it didn't hurt more than not wanting to burden Alyssina with being a broken man. So with a compromise before his self-exile, they consummate their marriage which in turn, two weeks later after she returned to Azeroth without Anduin, Alyssina would fall pregnant with the secret heir of Stormwind.

With the Fourth War over and done with, Alyssina and Anduin finally get to be together freely to the point they decide to no longer hide their relationship from Azeroth which leads to Anduin asking for her hand in marriage to become not only his wife, but also the Queen of Stormwind.

After Alyssina had returned to find that her mother had died while she was off to fight the Legion, going through a state of major depression, she couldn't resume her duties as the Alliance's legendary Battle Mage. Eventually, she did find work for herself and she ended up getting a stripper gig at The Blue Recluse tavern for which she wasn't the only stripper. That is until her rise to overwhelming popularity caused them to quit and she became The Blue Recluse's main nightly entertainment. She met Anduin Wrynn later on down her career path of being a stripper and although their meeting was by accident, the pair would soon find enjoyment in each other's company which would lead into a love blooming between them both.
