Silver penny with a partial Latin inscription around the edge (that the author doesn't remember, sorry). Central devise is a hand of god.

An excellent Viking silver penny, hand of god type, dating to c.915. It's one of three surviving coins (in the #YorkshireMuseum) of the many hundreds discovered in the Bossal-Flaxton Hoard.

Also featuring hacksilver and jewellery, mostly now lost.
