The front has a black steel field point, which starts to taper bluntly like a bullet, but then has a pronounced nose at the tip that comes to a more acute point.
Making some new wooden arrows for someone, and am trying out a different kind of point fitting, from TopHat in Germany. These fit over the outside of the shaft (rather than sitting flush, which requires tapering the shaft with an oversized pencil-sharpener), and are screwed on...
