I promise this is the FINAL design of Ari's sword from all the previous drawings. I think I finally nailed it down to a design that feels more like my own.

I am very proud of this^^

(Though the blade feels a little too wide, I'd probably draw it and have it drawn less wide)

Two concepts of Ari's sword. the left one is more just an blade with an edge and with an random scarf at the end. while the other one being more water coded with the wave and hook addition and the thing at the pummel look is his necklace.

I did some revision with the Ari's blade one last time, since I think I nailed it down in the sense of making it more original and I made these two ideas and well I wont lie the one of the right is defiantly the clear winner since it feels more watery with the hook deal.

change how his pants look and his jacket to be sleeveless, and added some stirrups with a blue cloth wrapped around his right leg.

so Ari's stuff I feel is still too similar to an character I like from FFX, Tidus.

I like the whole water theme. but the weapon and attire still feel too similar. I know the goal is it take aspects of the thing and make into my own thing but I need suggestions on to make it my own.

One hard thing to decide on is how Ari carries his blade.
one way is do a KoH deal where he just summons it with idk water effects, or it just gently floats nearby, ready to be grabbed when it's time to fight.

Though I still want it to be physical objects, so it can be taken or grabbed.

So, I've been trying to stick with an theme or element to Ari.
One of them is that he's a fighter or specializes in combat. so fits in many roles I have in mind for him.

In terms of element two come to mind, Fire or water.

SO I am an RPG fantasy man, I grew up with it.

And I always played as the agile fighter, I am an attacker type, fighting my way through, not really thinking about anything else until I have to start thinking.

Still an scalie but with canine features like ears/muzzle/nose

and with chestfloof and hair going from the back of the neck all the way down the back and down the length of the tail. oh and canine teeth.
