Barn swallow (Hirundo rustica) in flight. The iridescent blue on its back and its orange chin pop out nicely

A group of barn swallows (Hirundo rustica) were gathering around and between the reeds, likely preparing to group up and fly south soon.

The barn swallows were very busy as well yesterday. It definitely looks like they are grouping up to get ready to #migrate south soon.
Especially between the reeds it was a busy spectacle.
