Blue field madder. Technically a weed, but provides a pollen source for bees in early spring in areas that have bad soil.

I wasn’t sure if my #sunflowers were going to grow in this clay soil but we’ve got sprouts! I’m ecstatic!

I also transplanted a few #bluebonnets a couple weeks ago. They are happily spreading along with what is germinating from the seed mix I guerrillad 😻
