I would really like to work on my project for this #ArtInqMe prompt tonight. I am a little scared of it, though. It is a self-portrait, and I definitely won't look my best.
On the bright side, the exhaustion and pain from the work week might enhance the look and help convey the message.

A look back into the deep, dark magic for the #Empowerment #ArtInqMe challenge. When we spoke to @chocoholic.keyah on the Art & Inquiry #podcast, I immediately thought of this piece. Something Keyah made reminded me of this and I knew I had to dig it out of the ether and bring it back into the light. It is called Fault Lines and I made it in 2005. It is about how the faults within us make for the most beautiful stories. I have tried it 3 times now but I know I can revisit this with my current fault lines. This is a photo of me from 20 years ago with marble style lines drawn on my face and an artistic marble background.
