"9.9 million years after the worst mass extinction in history wiped off most of life on Earth, life has had the chance to rebound, and thrive again. This rings true especially for the residents of Pangaea's northern shores, as the coastline is thriving with all sorts of bizarre sea monsters. On this particular day, a lone Tanystropheus lounges on a rocky outcrop, waiting for the chance to strike his neck into the surf, hoping to catch a nearby fish. Below him, a female Nothosaurus returns to the coastline after a long hunt. As she swims for home, she passes by a few Gymnites, as they drift in the sunlit shadows. The female reaches for the shore, and just in time; From his perch, the Tanystropheus spots something coming out of the gloom. It's a massive Cymbospondylus, rising from the deep to look for easy prey, and the Nothosaurus manages to barely miss him before he could consider her "Catch of the Day". Even as life has bounced back from the brink of extinction, the same drama, one between predator and prey, still plays out as it's always been."
