this image is part of a reveal coming tomorrow afternoon for my last ARIRANG inspired piece. i started this collection the day the tracklist was revealed, creating the bottom left sticker of the perfume No. 29. i moved on when Gwanghwamun was announced and made the bottom right sticker of BTS in silhouettes in front of the sunset colored palace. then came the top left design where i was inspired by what i suspected No 29 meant, in relation to the divine bell of great king Seongdeok (which my theory wound up being true!). i then merged a traditional korean fan with inspired designs from the bell to create this design. then came the right middle design where immediately after finishing Saturday’s live concert, i got to work on it. i loved the set for body to body which made me want to draw it combined with the love i felt of bts all holding hands together at the end, and merged the two together to create this design (including having Gwanghwamun in the background of the stage lit in red). now, ive been finishing up a piece ive been working on the past week which is the top right design currently blurred out in this photo. a hint, you ask? let’s just say…you’re gonna wanna know how to swim. what do you think it is?! reveal at BoraHaus.etsy.com coming tomorrow afternoon…get ready!

in this design (NON-AI-SLOP), we give a nod to BTS who just performed at Gwanghwamun in front of millions worldwide. the set during body to body, with the arirang symbols above and the led strips on the sides, inspired me. then at the end when BTS all held hands to do their bow, it made me want to further mark this moment as a core memory and so i created this piece!
