Asphodelus albus, a very handsome flower that likes a sunny, well drained position. Like the A. lutea it also has interesting seeds for interest after the flowers have gone.

We moved this big Asphodelus albus just over a year ago and while it did sulk last year, look at it now! It's about 24 years old. Looking forward to a good crop of seed now! In the meantime we have the similar Asphodelus aestivus available...
