Cute pet grub with huge eyes

Did some art for healing tonight. The little pet grub wasn't slotted for this but, I was chatting with a high school friend and made it. Anyway, you can adopt the grub in the game (if you chose that option). You'll get to name it PLUS I'm making a custom printable sheet for your journal/binder where you'll be able to pick one of 3 options to color in (coloring book style) - or you can draw your own grub. The grub joins your party and will help protect you. (it has a stink attack at base level) But since it's a baby, you'll also roll on a table to see how it grows - all good options really. This silly little grub is such a source of joy for both me and the designers. I hope you like it. :)

Viedat is a seven foot tall insect humanoid. She’s a bit intimidating at first glance since she stands very straight and has multifaceted insect eyes. However, looks are deceiving and she’s intelligent, curious, and kind. She wants people to like her and she’s always happy to meet people who accept her and want to share stories or talk about mutual interests. She speaks via a translation drone since her native tongue is “bug noises” to most people’s ears. She’s studying the yangoe currently. She’s a xenobiologist. Tikemir are eel humanoids who all dance. They love movement and life, and some can be super flirty at times.

Wrayesi are stingray humaniods who act as oral historian and do monologues too. They know so many random stories and facts.

Boesm are fish humaniods who love beat poetry and drumming. They're loud, tough, and will rock out with you.

The best part of her story is that she ends up on the planet where nearly everyone is super extroverted.

...and that's funny to me, because I did that to her.

Viedat is a yellow mantic like humanoid. Annoyed/Angry Surprised/Shocked Sad/Disappointed Content/Happy Her eyes are a combo of house fly, mantis, and crested gecko. I wanted her to be limited in her facial expression range, but not zero range. I was inspired by my crested geckos who can have "droopy, sleepy eyes" during the day. I took that idea, added a bit of bug, exaggerated it a little, and arrived here. Her antennae and mouth pieces are her primary communication appendages. Her own people rarely bother with straining their "eyebrows" into an expression, but they can - to aid in communication with species that rely more heavily on that. She speaks her native language, and usually uses a translation drone to communicate. However, she under- stands the common tongue and also signs. Her people sign to communicate with other species if translation drones are not available. VEIDAT'S EXPRESSIONS
