This is absolutely not a commentary on if Noem and Bondi deserved to be fired, but I think it’s also worth highlighting how Trump’s frequent use of firing is a sign that he’s a shitty leader and businessman.
Not a Noem or Bondi fan, but I don't think it's a coincidence that the two most prominent women in Trump's failing presidency got the boot even though Hegsbeth, RFK Jr, Duffy, and Rubio are objectively as incompetent and, except for Duffy, responsible for orders of magnitude more civilian deaths.
How incredibly predictable that Bondi and Noem made absolute bafoons of themselves on behalf of Trump, only to learn that there’s no amount of cruelty toward others that could buy them safety in a room full of misogynists.
i actually am immensely heartened by the Noem and Bondi firings, because one of the core pillars of Trump 2: Here To Stay is that they simply Were Not Gonna Fire Any Guys.
