SH2-284 - Emission nebula in Monoceros
Sh2-284 is a massive emission nebula and active star-forming region located about 15,000 light-years away in the constellation Monoceros, the unicorn.

SH2-280: emission nebula in Monoceros, the unicorn.
It's an interesting HII region very close to the Rossette nebula, frequently overshadowed or ignored because of its bright neighbor.
Located at around 5,500 light years from Earth.

Horsehead Nebula & Flame Nebula — 2×2 Mosaic in HaRBG
Over several of the few clear nights at end of Dec and Jan, I collected data for this ambitious project: a 2×2 mosaic of this iconic region, captured with both broadband and narrowband filters.

Gum 15, Gum 17 & NGC 2671 in Vela.
Gum 15 and Gum 17 are two emission nebulae in the southern constellation Vela, which represents the sails of the ancient ship Argo Navis. Near the center of both nebulae lies the open cluster NGC 2671.

Timelapse of the Southern night sky captured alongside my telescope imaging session.
While visiting the dark and beautiful skies of Ensenada, Puntarenas, I decided to record a timelapse of the southern horizon as my telescope tracked nebulae.

NGC 246, Small Planetary Nebula in Cetus
Another fascinating planetary nebula can be found in the constellation Cetus. Commonly referred to as the Skull Nebula due to its resemblance to a human skull.

Pleiades, The Seven Sisters, The Seven Little Goats, Subaru (M45)
One of the most recognizable asterisms, the Pleiades can be seen with the naked eye as a compact group of stars in the night sky.

Helix Nebula - NGC 7293
Back in my backyard, another nebula that was on my list of pending targets is the Helix Nebula (NGC 7293), popularly known as “The Eye of God” or “The Eye of Sauron”.

After endless rain, the weather has finally improved. These are the Horsehead and Flame Nebulae in Orion. Taken with the Askar V telescope at 600mm using the ASI2600MC-Air camera. Taken from my home in San José, Costa Rica. Processed in Pixinsight

The Famous Interstellar Comet 3I/ATLAS:
The interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS is the third interstellar object discovered (hence the designation 3I) to pass through our Solar System.

The final image is 11,311 x 7,569 pixels, around 82 megapixels, and it's unfortunate that social media reduces the image quality so much. For this reason, I’ve included some close-ups, including the famous "zoo", where many people see animal-shaped figures.

I forgot to share this one from Feb-2005!! 😱
My First Mosaic—Rosette Nebula in the Monoceros Constellation, the Unicorn.
I had been meaning to learn how to capture and process mosaics, and I decided that the Rosette Nebula was a great candidate for this.

Photo of space dust that looks like two dragons
On my way back to home from spending a week in Atacama Desert. There are no words to describe this sky. I have tons of data to spam, and here is just a quick processing I did in the floor of Calama’s airport. Ara’s dragons fighting over his egg… starless edition. #AstroCostaRica #Astrophotography 🔭

M95 and M96 are two fascinating spiral galaxies that are very close to each other, located in the direction of the constellation Leo. Both are part of the M96 group.
I collected 11 hours and 25 minutes throught 3 nights from my backyard.

The dry season has ended, and the galaxy season wasn’t particularly favorable for me due to bad weather. Nevertheless, I managed to capture some images, mainly because I started early.
This time, I photographed M95 and M96, 2 galaxies in Leo.

Located approximately 80 million light-years away, M109 stands out as the brightest member of the Ursa Major Galaxy Group.
I was also able to capture a lot of other much more distant galaxies.

M109, unofficially nicknamed the Tie Fighter Galaxy by me, earned its name because its core reminded me of a Star Wars TIE Fighter. This striking barred spiral galaxy is nestled in the direction of Ursa Major, appearing near the star Phecda (γ Ursa Major).

In January, while awaiting the rise of M81-M82, I captured images of the Fossil Footprint Nebula (NGC 1491) in Perseus. My main goal was to test the Antlia Quad-band filter's performance with emission nebulae. This image is the result of 11 hours of integration.

Additionally, in this frame, you can also observe some open star clusters, such as M38.
I captured this image from my backyard over the course of 3 nights, with a 135 mm camera lens connected to an astronomical camera and using a narrowband filter.
