We did however see Orion and his belt along with his nebula just below. Nebula’s are da birthplace of stars and super impawtant parts of da universe.

Due to heavy rain Muvver and I weren’t able to see Venus, Mercury and Saturn before dey went below the horizon after sunset. But once da rain stopped and da skies cleared we saw Jupiter although we couldn’t get a good photo as da moon drowned it out with its light #AstronomerOz

Eyes to da skies pals for da Quadrantid meteor shower. Tonight is its peak so the best time to bundle up and head out, however tonight is also a full moon which will create natural light pollution and drown out a lot of the meteors. #AstronomerOz #Hedgewatch #meteorshower

In da early hours of da 14th March der will be a partial lunar eclipse and around 10am U.K. time on da 29th March der will be a partial solar eclipse.
