Short break in clouds after a significant snowstorm earlier this week. Only managed 18 minutes on M42 (Orion Nebula). 61 mm refractor, URANU-C camera, stacked in Siril. #astrphotography

A red, triangular-shaped nebula flanked by two bright stars. There is a brighter red nebula with stars in the upper left hand corner. A 60 minute exposure with a 50mm f/5 250mm fl quadruplet refractor and a dual-band filter.

IC 5070, aka The Pelican Nebula, is a star-forming area in Cygnus. Nearby stars cause the hydrogen gas to give off a red glow.
IC 5070 is just next to the North American Nebula which can be seen in the upper left corner.
This was a one hour exposure over several nights.
