Long exposure photograph of steel wool spinning at night, taken in December 2025. Burning wire wool has been spun in circles while walking along a path beside a body of water, creating a continuous spiral of golden-orange sparks that forms a helix or spring-like pattern stretching across the frame. Individual spark trails arc outward from the main spiral. The sparks and their bright orange reflections shimmer in the dark water below, doubling the effect. Bare winter trees and street lights are visible in the background against a dark sky. A low hedge runs along the water's edge.
